The Christoph Suttner Jazz Orchestra presents a synthesis of jazz and progressive metal. The original compositions are inspired both by modern big band compositions and bands like Meshuggah, Tool, and Periphery. This is music with "pure intention," seamlessly transitioning from delicate orchestral sounds to complex, distorted, and powerful riffs.

The ensemble, led by Christoph Suttner and consisting of musicians from the Vienna jazz scene, brings the music to life through playing that is powerful, precise, and full of feeling. The intense sound of a traditional big band ensemble unfolds here in an entirely new form.
